HACA President Receives a Delegation of Chilean Journalists Visiting Morocco
The President of the High Authority for Audiovisual Communication, Ms. Amina Lemrini Elouahabi, received on Tuesday October 2nd 2018, at the HACA headquarters in Rabat, a delegation of journalists visiting Morocco from Chile.
The delegation included Mr. David Bertelet Dahma, Director of the cultural propagation at the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María in Valparaiso, current President of the Chilean Universities Radio Network, and Honorary Consul of Morocco in Valparaiso, Mr. Eduardo Espinoza Martinez, Director of the “Radio Universal” and current President of the Radio Broadcasting Association of Chile, in addition to Mr. Juan Soto Meneses, Director of the “Radio Universidad de Atacama” and former President of the Radio Broadcasting Association of Chile.
This meeting, that was organized by the Embassy of the kingdom in Chile, was an occasion to exchange information with a number of Moroccan officials and inquire about Morocco’s progress in various fields, especially in terms of democracy, human rights and freedom of expression.
During this audience, Ms. Lemrini Elouahabi presented the missions and the principle accomplishments of the High Authority since its creation on 2002 as part of the global framework of the irreversible process of the state and society democratization in which Morocco has been engaged.
At the outcome of this meeting the members of the Chilean delegation visited the Information System Department and the Program Monitoring Department where they had a chance to know about the HACA Media Solutions “HMS” that was developed by the institution’s engineers and shared with other regulation instances in Africa and Europe.
