President Amina Lemrini receives Minister of Communication of the Republic of Niger
President of the High Authority Ms. Amina Lemrini received, on March the 1st 2017, the Minister of Communications of the Republic of Niger Ms. Sani Hadiza Abdoulaye Koubra, on the sidelines of her visit to Morocco.
The Nigerian minister was accompanied by Mrs. Mahamane Alhassane Abass and Hamissou Mamane Hassane, respectively First Secretary and Responsible for Protocol at the Embassy of Niger to Morocco.
This visit, that takes place in the context of strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between Morocco and Niger, represented an opportunity to fruitfully discuss on various aspects of challenges relating to audiovisual regulation in the two countries.
In this meeting, Ms. Lemrini Elouahabi reviewed the major turning points that have marked the Moroccan audiovisual landscape in the last fifteen years, the missions of the HACA, the major amendments concerning the reorganization of the legal framework, as well as the several common actions conducted with HACA’s Nigerian homolog, the Higher Council for Communication (Niger), both in bilateral and multilateral levels, notably through the regulatory networks of which both institutions are members, mainly the RIARC and the REFRAM.
Thereafter, the Minister of Communications of Niger and the delegation accompanying her visited the IT Department to familiarize with information systems on audiovisual programs monitoring developed within the HACA.
Discussions were also attended by Mrs. Amin Azziman, Director of International Cooperation and Talal Salahdine, Manager of International Cooperation.
